4:10 a.m. : "Mommy, get up! It is snowing outside. Hurry! To the front windows. You can see it so much better from there!"

To our delight, we watched as fat, fluffy flakes descended on our neighborhood. Then, it was back to bed. At 5:30, the school system called to notify us of a 2 hour delay! At 7:30 the rain started. We were so happy,a bit regretful over not going out to play at 4:10, even for the rain. (We are in a severe drought with water restrictions in place).

We have snowballs in the freezer, as proof that this was not just a dream.

Thank you Jesus!

oooooooooooooh, YIPPEE!!!!!!! snowballs in the freezer...that is so GREAT. We, (Tyler and I) just got in from playing in the snow for over an hour....sorry!!! Luke was taking a nap and those big flakes were calling us outward. We, (I) built a snow family....I'll post it later. It's so cute. I'm wearing an apron and Jake has a hammer!!! HA! send more about NYC event. Your letter mentioned an invite enclosed, but I couldn't find one.
praying for you as I go to do the dishes. Jake is out snow plowing so I call myself a "snow widow" during these storms.....

Vickie - how are you? It's Sarah (Oldham) Peppel. Aunt Pat told me that you had a blog so I did a google search and found it! Hope all is well. I am sure you will see Blake's new baby before I do. Give it a pinch and squeeze for me! I won't be down until summer. I've signed up for the SheSpeaks conference June 20-22 through Proverbs31 ministries. Have you ever heard of it or been to it? I am sure your summers are full.

Take care and come visit my blog sometime! www.genesismoments.com
